The billboards call attention to the disappearing song of the Regent Honeyeater. The cutout glyph shapes and holes are abstracted from the spectrograph of a field recording. Viewers could listen to the birdsong on their phones through a QR code link.

Just Holding Out was commissioned for the Canberra Art Biennial 2024 and was sited at the National Arboretum.

A smaller version of 4 panels, Holding, selected for the NorthSydney Art Prize 2024, was exhibited earlier in the year at the Coal Loader Centre for Sustainability in Waverton.
